Landscaper robbed at gunpoint, suspects at large

Law enforcement officials are searching today for two men who allegedly robbed a local landscaper at gunpoint, it was reported.

According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report, the victim was approached by two black male suspects at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at the 23900 block of Temescal Canyon Road in the unincorporated county area known as Glen Ivy.

One of the suspects pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim while the other suspect removed landscaping equipment from the bed of the victim’s truck.

The two suspects then fled to a nearby vehicle occupied by a third black male suspect driver.

The vehicle was last seen fleeing the location at a high rate of speed, the report said.

The suspects’ vehicle is described as a 1990s black, two-door Honda Accord, with tinted windows and no front license plate.

A license plate number was not provided.
