A woman who was exercising alone at the Mt. San Jacinto College sports track was sexually assaulted, officials reported.

The attack happened at about 7:00 p.m. on Sunday May 13.
As the female victim was walking along the track, a Hispanic male described to be approximately 15-19 years of age came up to her and began sexually assaulting her by unlawfully touching her for sexual gratification, Sgt. Larson said in a written statement.
The victim was able to break free from the suspect’s grasp and he took off running.
Sheriff’s deputies advise all citizens to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity, including vehicles or people to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department or by calling 911.
