Lake Elsinore Storm plans ‘red, white and blue’ celebrations this weekend

Storm fans and all military personnel are welcome to join the Storm this Memorial Day weekend for Military appreciation and other festivities. All military with proper ID will receive up to four $5 ticket box or reserved seat to any game during the 4-day weekend.

On Friday families can enjoy our family campout on the field after the 7:05 p.m. game versus the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. There will be postgame fireworks presented by Fireworks America. Families who stay and campout will also enjoy a movie and snack on the field. In the morning families can enjoy breakfast with us as well! This entire package of family fun entertainment is only $15 per person!

Saturday will kick off the first annual community sale where you can come sell your unwanted items or come browse our many vendors. Sgt Slaughter, wrestling legend and American Icon will be at Saturday’s 6:05 p.m. game when the Storm takes on the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Join him for a rendition of  “Take me out to the ball game” and a meet and greet autograph session.

On Sunday the Storm will begin itshome series against the Lancaster JetHawks at 2:05 p.m. Sunday is a Sunday Funday where kids can join our Kids Club, participate in the Thunder Fun Run and have a chance to run the bases after  the game.

On Monday the Storm will host a 5k/10k race that will help benefit area military families. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and the race will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will start and finish at the stadium traveling out on the levy along Lake Elsinore.

Throughout the weekend the Storm is helping Operation Showers of Appreciation — an organization that helps suppot military families with their newborn babies. For every new baby item donated (of at least a $10 value) you will receive a free box or reserved seat to a Storm game during May 25 – 28.
