A Hemet-based hospice services provider is operating under a new name following the company’s successful acquisition by a healthcare investment firm.
Ramona VNA & Hospice is now Inland Empire Home Health & Hospice, according to the KPC Group, a privately owned enterprise based in Riverside and founded by Dr. Kali P. Chaudhuri.
The KPC Group completed its acquisition of Ramona VNA earlier this month.
According to the KPC Group, the newly renamed company will continue to provide home health visits and hospice visits to existing patients and will be adding new patients in response to demand.
“Nothing has changed as far as our ability to accept patients,” said Inland Empire Home Health & Hospice Chief Executive Officer Carol Wood. “Our standards, ethics, staff members and dedication to the community are the same with this sale. We have proudly served the community for nearly 30 years, and we look forward to continuing to provide quality home health and hospice services.”
IEHHH will primarily cater to residents of Canyon Lake, Hemet, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Murrieta, Perris and Temecula.
End-of-life and long term disability care will be the company’s main focus, officials said, adding that most senior health plans, including MediCal and Medicare, are accepted.
