Update: 12-year-old Moreno Valley boy found safe

UPDATE: On May 25, 2012, at about 10:30 a.m., the juvenile was located safe and sound at a friend’s house in the city of Moreno Valley. He was returned home to his family, and is no longer listed as a missing juvenile, Sgt. Levelier stated in a report.

ORIGINAL STORY:  Moreno Valley Police officers are searching for a missing 12-year-old boy.

Officers responded to the 11900 block of Welby Place in Moreno Valley on May 24 just before midnight, Sgt. Lingo said in a report.

Officers learned the juvenile, Juan Medina, was last seen walking eastbound on Ironwood Avenue from Indian at approximately 6 p.m.

Medina was reportedly lasts seen with two unknown Hispanics.  One was described as wearing a red muscle shirt and basketball shorts and the other was wearing a white T-shirt and basketball shorts. Officers were told they are possible friends.

Medina is described as 4’10” tall, 94 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a black and white muscle shirt, black basketball shorts and black and white converse shoes, a Riverside County Sheriff’s report stated.
