Authorities are continuing to investigate two suspects’ involvement in connection with the theft of a 2005 Ford truck stolen in the 33600 block of View Crest in Wildomar, it was reported.
Deputies patrolling the area in the early morning hours of May 29 of Waite Street and Cherry Street, located the truck parked on the side of the road with four people standing by the vehicle.
Three fled the scene when officers approached, and a gray 2006 Toyota coupe was seen speeding away from the location, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report.
The Toyota was located and stopped by additional units that were called to the area.
The Toyota’s driver, Canyon Lake resident Adam Hensley, 19, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and being in possession of stolen property.
He was booked into the Southwest Detention Center.
One suspect was located but was determined not to be involved in the theft.
