The event’s guest of honor is Riverside County District Attorney Paul Zellerbach.

The Polo Tournament and Luncheon will benefit the Celebrity Foundation for Children, a nonprofit public charity, whose mission is to develop programs to strengthen families and develop the health, welfare and education of children.

Celebrity Ranch hosts over 5,000 children annually for weekend camps surrounded by zebras, camels, buffalos, ponies, lamas, and other animals on a real working ranch in Temecula horse country.

The tournament will feature two teams of local polo professionals and amateur players who will face off against each other at the Ranch’s own arena.  A catered luncheon will follow.

“We are so delighted to bring the noble and exciting sport of polo to Southwest Riverside County for this worthy cause, foundation president Mike Farah said.  “Last year’s tournament and luncheon was a great success and we are pleased to be able to bring yet another thrilling polo match to our donors, local kids and people in the surrounding community.  It will be a fast-paced, fun-filled day of food and sport for all.”

Gates open at 11:30 a.m. Luncheon and polo tournament will begin at noon.

Tickets are $75.00 each or $600.00 for a box of eight. Corporate sponsorships are still accepted.
