Firefighters made quick work today of a blaze in a Perris storage yard that burned a double-wide trailer, an outbuilding and some equipment, a fire department spokeswoman said.
The fire was reported at 11:20 a.m. in the 5000 block of Patterson Avenue, near Harley Knox Boulevard, said Jody Hagemann of the fire department.
By 12:13 p.m., 27 firefighters had contained the fire, Hagemann said.
There were no injuries reported and the cause of the blaze was being investigated, she said.
