A young man was facing a possible manslaughter charge today in a rollover wreck that killed a 20-year-old passenger.
Jonathan Cuevas of Riverside died in the roughly 2:05 a.m. crash Saturday on Arlington Avenue, just west of Fairhaven Drive, Riverside police Sgt. Phil Neglia said.
The 18-year-old driver of the 1995 Isuzu Rodeo, whose name was not made available, was taken to Riverside Community Hospital in serious condition, police said.
He was believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said.
Witnesses told police the SUV was speeding east on Arlington, and the driver lost control on a curve, causing the SUV to roll several times.
