So carving out a date night with your loved one is quite difficult, and as a result, it’s special when it happens.
The babysitter has been hired and you’re dressed to the nines. Now, where to go for your romantic evening?

Cozy, intimate, relaxing, and warm — that’s the best way to describe Crivello’s dining room. Add a little soft lighting via table candles, and you’ve stepped into an upscale casual environment perfect for one-on-one time. Ask for one of their tables-for-two next to the window for added privacy.
You’ll find the staff to be extremely knowledgeable and accommodating as you glance over a menu designed – and perfected — by Chef Sebastian Crivello. Hailing from Sicily, Chef Sebastian offers Southern Italian cuisine at its finest — an impressive array of chicken and veal, steaks, seafood, and pasta dishes that will delight your palate.
Their wine list is impressive as well and includes fantastic local wineries, including Wiens Family Cellars and Robert Renzoni Vineyards, but they also offer a very reasonable corkage fee. Take advantage of it if you have a special Chianti you wish to bring.
You’ll have little difficulty deciding on a delicious appetizer or two — but I loved their traditional Mozzarella Caprese.
Also try their Fritto di Calamari — the shrimp and calamari are just slightly floured and fried, which lends to a healthier lightness. And don’t skip their Signature Salad — the orange slices, dried cranberries, and candied walnuts balance perfectly with the mixed greens, gorgonzola cheese, and fresh raspberry dressing.
And what to order as your entree? Not an easy choice, I must admit, but their Linguine Frutti di Mare is out of this world, as well as their Spinach Ravioli with Prawns. Amazing! Crivello’s may be especially known for their steaks and seafood, but don’t skip their homemade pasta – it’s as good as it gets.
End your evening with one of their unique dessert drinks — perhaps the Chocolate Martini or a vintage port – and your date night is complete.
For a couple of hours, you’ve shared an intimate evening of amazing food and ambiance with the one you love. Now, unfortunately, it’s back to reality.
