Safe Alternatives for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is set to host its 5th annual PAL Officer-Youth Awards at 4:30 p.m. on June 29  at the Murrieta Equestrian Center, located at 42670 Juniper Street in Murrieta.

Law enforcement from Temecula/Murrieta Departments, dignitaries, city officials and youth in S.A.F.E.’s Police Activities League along with S.A.F.E. staff and guests will honor the officers for their participation in the PAL Program.

Safe Alternatives for Everyone offers the PAL Program because all kids face difficult challenges in school, at home and on the playing field.  The agency is dedicated to providing programs and activities which offer all kids an opportunity to participate with positive role models in a safe environment with caring adults.

Kids will pay tribute to the officers for their volunteer work in PAL and give an officer the mark of distinction with the Officer of the Year Award.

Youth in PAL Teen Leadership Program will also be recognized for their involvement and commitment to the PAL Program.

This is an outdoor event.

A Tri-Tip Bar-B-Q served up by Buffalo Bill DeLuna will follow the awards program.

A $15 per person/$25 couple donation will benefit the PAL Equestrian Program.

Come out and honor those who volunteer their time to the youth in our valley and support a program that will teach our youth responsibility, care and feeding of a horse and the enjoyment of riding.

Call 951.587.3900 if you will be attending the event or e-mail patti@safefamiliesca.org.
