Two people were arrested for suspicion of drunken driving and four vehicles were towed during an overnight saturation patrol that ended today in Perris, a sheriff’s department spokesman said.
The patrol throughout the city began at 8 p.m. Friday and concluded at 2 a.m. today, said sheriff’s Sgt. Danny Lingo.
Deputies also issued two citations for drivers with a suspended license, according to Lingo.
“The goal of the saturation patrol was removing impaired drivers and to bring awareness to the public the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol,” Lingo said.
