Three injured in rollover crash in Desert Hot Springs

Three people were injured today in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Desert Hot Springs that trapped the occupants, according to a fire department spokeswoman.

The crash occurred about 7 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10 approaching Palm Drive, said Melody Hendrickson of the fire department.

“The three patients were extricated at approximately 7:31 a.m. and were transported to an area hospital via ground ambulance,” Hendrickson said.

“All three sustained minor injuries.”
