Two men are behind bars on burglary charges after they were spotted running back and forth on a San Jacinto business rooftop just after 9 a.m. on Wednesday June 20, officials reported.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 700 block of South San Jacinto Avenue after someone called to report a hanging rope inside of the business and a masked man on the roof.

San Bernadino residents, 21-year-old Terry Richardson and 22-year-old Kynasasha McDuffie were immediately apprehended and taken into custody without incident, Sgt. Agcaoili stated in a report.

Further investigation revealed a rope and a duffle bag filled with burglary tools.  Both suspects were booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional facility on charges of consipiracy, possession of burglary tools and attempted robbery.

Anyone with further details regarding this incident is urged to call the San Jacinto Police Department at 951-654-2702.
