A series of four wrecks on Interstate 10 in Cabazon within minutes of one another left two people injured, a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said today.
The wrecks in eastbound lanes started near Main Street about 6:35 p.m. Friday, when a vehicle went off the shoulder, the dispatcher said.
Moments later, a car and a big rig collided, then another driver crashed into the center divider, according to the CHP. The fourth accident was a two-car collision that sent two people to a hospital with injuries the CHP described as minor to moderate.
Traffic was slowed for about an hour.
