Motorist seriously injured in crash outside Temecula

The driver of a vehicle that crashed into a fence today in Sage, near Temecula, was ejected and hospitalized with serious injuries, a fire department spokeswoman said.

The crash was reported at 1:04 p.m. in the 31400 block of Coralee Lane, CalFire’s Jody Hagemann said.

The motorist, whose age and gender were not revealed, was taken to a hospital for treatment, she said.

The cause of the crash was being investigated, according to Hagemann.
