Pedestrian struck by motorcyclist in Fallbrook

A motorcycle rider ran into a pedestrian in Fallbrook, a California Highway Patrol officer said today.

The crash on East Mission Road, west of Stagecoach Lane, was reported about 4:35 p.m. Saturday, according to the CHP.

A 34-year-old Vista man riding a 2009 Kawasaki east on Mission Road struck a 48-year-old man walking in the area.

Paramedics took both men to a hospital, but their names and conditions were not made available.
