Sixteen Murrieta firefighters responded to a fire that broke out at 2:08 a.m. Monday morning in a home located at 24576 Adanti Court, it was reported today.

There, they found the garage and roof completely engulfed in fire.
According to a Murrieta Fire Department report, all the occupants were found safely out of the house upon arrival of the first crew.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading inside the home.
The residents’ property inside the home was not damaged. The next door neighbor’s home was also spared, Murrieta Fire Department spokesman Matt Corelli said.
Thirty minutes after the arrival of the first crew, the fire was deemed contained.
An investigation into the cause and location of the fire is ongoing.
The damage was estimated at $70,000.
