Officers approached a home at about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday June 26 on Longhorn Drive in Canyon Lake to serve a warrant on 33-year-old Sean Cadieux, officials said.

Cadieux attempted to flee the scene along with 34-year-old Brian Restad as officers neared the residence.

Cadieux was arrested on felony drug and fraud charges and Restad was arrested on stolen vehicle charges.

After a short foot chase, both men were apprehended and taken into custody, a Riverside County Sheriff’s press release stated.

Upon searching the residence, four other people were contacted and arrested:

  • 34-year-old Nathan Guay, violation of parole.
  • 32-year-old Jason Brown, under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • 40-year-old Michael Arellanes, under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • 26-year-old Kristy Reynolds, under the influence of a controlled substance.

Anyone with additional details regarding this incident is urged to contact Officer Denham with the Canyon Lake Police Department at 951-210-1000.
