Lake Elsinore bank robbed, police seek suspect

Police officials are on the hunt for a man who robbed a Chase Bank in Lake Elsinore, it was reported today.

Bank employees said an Hispanic man in his 20s with a slender build approached a teller just after noon today and presented a note that demanded cash.

According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report, the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

He was last seen running northbound across Canyon Estates into a residential housing tract.

No one was hurt during the incident, officials said.

Police searched the surrounding area but were not able to locate the man.

The suspect was described as an Hispanic male adult, mid-20s, wearing sunglasses, a grey long sleeve button up shirt, black dress slacks and was clean-shaven.
