Authorities today identified a man who was killed in a motorcycle crash in the unincorporated Winchester area.
The crash was reported at 8:16 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Marvin Hull and Smith roads, a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said.
Harold Hughes, 56, of Winchester died at a hospital about an hour after the crash, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau.
The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved, the dispatcher said.
The circumstances of the accident were under investigation.
