Lake Elsinore crash leaves driver in critical condition

A solo vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore today left one person in critical condition, according to a fire department spokeswoman.

The crash was reported at 1:50 p.m. on Greenwald Avenue at Little Valley Road, according to CalFire’s Melody Hendrickson.

The driver, who was trapped in the vehicle and freed by firefighters, was taken to a nearby hospital, Hendrickson said.
