Salsa, guacamole demonstration planned at Murrieta Public Library

Who doesn’t love some good guac and spicy, mouth-watering salsa?

Culinary expert Mia Cucuta will demonstrate how to make fresh guacamole and salsa beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 9, in the Murrieta Public Library’s Community Room, it was recently announced.

A former employee of “Murrieta Cooks,” Cucuta is known her expertise in creating savory dishes and with fresh and healthy ingredients.

After the demonstration, participants will have an opportunity to sample the tasty sauces created during the program.

All ingredients will be provided at this one-hour event, which is part of the Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program’s “Between the Covers.”

According to a statement released by the Murrieta Public Library, guests will also have the chance to win one of two $25 gift cards to Murrieta Day Spa and Hair Studio.

Space is limited to 25 participants.  Tickets are available in the Library’s foyer starting at 5 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Friends of the Murrieta Library. The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street).
