Updated: Police say no shots fired in Wildomar

Update @ 4:39 p.m.:  According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Albert Martinez, there were no shots fired at the scene and no one has been shot.

Martinez confirmed the incident is being investigated as a disturbance, with a person at the home experiencing some type of mental episode.

Original story: Deputies with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and officials with the Wildomar Police, Cal Fire and Riverside County Fire Department are all on the scene of a possible shooting in Wildomar.

Roads have been shut down near Walnut and Cherry roads.
