Original: Sheriff’s investigators today were trying to locate a 20-year-old woman who called her boyfriend and said she had been abducted by three men in a van outside a Perris shopping center.
Riverside County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Walmart shopping center in the 25000 block of North Perris Boulevard around 11:35 a.m. Tuesday after the woman’s boyfriend alerted authorities to the possible abduction, said Sgt. Raymond Huskey of the sheriff’s Perris Station.
The boyfriend said he had dropped Tina Marie Timm off at the shopping center and a short time later received text messages from her saying she had been abducted by three males in a white van with curtains on the rear window, Huskey said.
Timm was last seen on shopping center surveillance video at 10:58 a.m., when she was seen walking northbound out of camera range, he said.
She is Hispanic, 5 feet 2, 230 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a gray sleeveless shirt, blue denim pants and black rimmed prescription glasses.
Anyone with information of Timm’s whereabouts was asked to call sheriff’s Investigator John Powers of the Perris Station at (951) 210-1000.
