Family concerned for woman gone missing near Big Bear Lake

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding a local woman who has not been seen or heard from since July 10, it was reported today.

Megan Jones, 33, spoke with family members at about 1:30 p.m. on July 10, officials said.

According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report, Jones was last seen in the Big Bear Lake/Running Springs area, driving her 4-door red 2004 Volkswagen Jetta with the California license plate #5JFP170.

“No foul play is suspected at this time; however, family members are concerned for her well-being,” the report said.

Jones is described as a white female adult,  5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.
