Palm Desert: Suspected drunk driver plows Porsche into tree

A man suspected of driving drunk lost control of his Porsche 944 and slammed into a tree, officials reported.

The suspect was driving near De Anza Way and San Pascual Avenue  just before 2 a.m. on Saturday July 14 in Palm Desert.

Palm Desert resident 41-year-old Yousef Odeh was speeding eastbound on De Anza when he lost control of his car and crashed, Sgt. Devinny said in a written report.

Odeh sustained minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.

He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drinking and driving and booked into the Riverside County jail in Indio.
