Fire damages Jurupa Valley garage

A fire damaged a garage in a Jurupa Valley neighborhood, but no one was hurt, a Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman said today.

Fifteen firefighters assigned to four engine companies were sent to an address in the 9100 block of 44th Street at 4:21 p.m. Saturday and had the fire contained by 4:37 p.m., Melody Hendrickson said.

There were no injuries reported. How the fire started was not immediately known.
