Theater-goers are invited to immerse themselves in the magic of the “Phantom” when it premieres this week.
Presented by the Fine Arts Network Theatre Company, the show will debut at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 2 at Old Town Temecula Community Theater.
Based on Gaston Leroux’s 1910 novel “Phantom of the Opera,” the musical tells the haunting tale of a deformed musical genius who seeks love and acceptance in an angelic singer.
This captivating production by Maury Yetson is considered by many to be favored over Andrew Lloyd Weber’s own famed “Phantom of the Opera.”
The musical runs Aug. 2 -5, 9-12, 16-19.
Old Town Temecula Community Theater is located at 42051 Main Street in Temecula.
