Residents invited to experience Temecula history

The Temecula Valley Museum invites residents and history buffs for an interesting and entertaining lecture to learn about the history of the Old West from the late 1800s to 1900.

The Old West Gallery Talk, presented by Kevin Noble, is planned for 7 p.m. on Aug. 9 at the Temecula Valley Museum.

Noble, regarded for his living history portrayal of James Butler “Wild Bill” Hickok and an expert on this period in the development of the west, will offer a close look at period artifacts and discuss the life and times in the Old West.

Held in conjunction with the current Temecula Valley Museum exhibit “Temecula and The Old West,” visitors will also have the chance to view the exhibit either before or after the talk.

The Temecula Valley Museum is located at 28314 Mercedes St. in Old Town Temecula.
