Alice Cooper will perform at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in December, with tickets on sale beginning Friday, a casino spokeswoman said this week.
Cooper, considered the founder of shock rock, will be on stage at the Indio casino on Dec. 1, Fantasy Spring spokeswoman Anndee Laskoe said.
Cooper, a golf enthusiast, played in two of the Coachella Valley’s best-known tournaments this year, the Humana Challenge in January and and Kraft Nabisco Championship in March.
Cooper’s latest album, “Welcome 2 My Nightmare,” is the sequel to his 1975 album and first solo release, “Welcome to My Nightmare.” Cooper was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year and recently toured with Iron Maiden.
Cooper owns a restaurant and sports bar in Phoenix called Cooper’stown and hosts a nightly radio show called “Nights With Alice Cooper,” which is syndicated on more than 100 stations.
Tickets are priced at $69, $49 and $29. For information, call 800-827-2946 or go to www.fantasyspringsresort.com.
