A fire broke out tonight in a home in Homeland, displacing three people.
The fire was reported at 8:06 p.m. at 25900 Creag Ave., said Melody Hendrickson of the Riverside County Fire Department.
Rescuers arriving at the location reported heavy smoke showing from the 1,400-square foot single-family home, Hendrickson said.
The flames were under control by 8:54 p.m., Hendrickson said.
Three residents, two females and one male, were displaced due to the fire and are expected to receive assistance from the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
