Updated: Corona resident found dead in parking structure at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa

Updated: The Coroner’s office identified the man found dead in a parking structure at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa as 38-year-old Christopher Granados of Corona. Investigators determined Granados died of natural causes and no foul play is suspected in his death.

The exact cause of death is pending toxicology results.

A man was found unresponsive in a parked car at Morongo Casino Resort and Spa on Monday Aug. 13 just after 8 a.m., officials reported.

Deputies arrived at the resort as casino employees and medical staff were performing life-saving techniques on the man in the top level of the parking structure.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased,  Sgt. Alan Meservey said.

He is described as a 38-year-old Caucasian male from Corona. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
