Eastvale crash claims life of wheelchair-bound man

A wheelchair-bound 66-year-old man was hit by a vehicle and killed today at an Eastvale intersection, authorities said.

The crash was at about 8 a.m. at the intersection of Hamner and Limonite avenues.

The man suffered head injuries and died later at a hospital, according to sheriff’s and county coroner’s officials.

His identity was being withheld while his family was notified, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was investigating the crash.
