Motorcyclist killed on I-10 identified

A 21-year-old man killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 10 was identified today by the Riverside County coroner’s office.

Joshua Vielstich, 21, of Twentynine Palms, died when his motorcycle crashed into the rear of a car on the west I-10 about 8:15 p.m., according to the coroner’s office.

Vielstich was pronounced dead at the scene, about 1.1 miles west of North Indian Canyon Drive in Palm Springs.
