Police were investigating a spate of vehicle burglaries that have occurred in the same Cathedral City area, a police sergeant said today.
Officers responded to the 68700 block of East Palm Canyon a few minutes after 9 p.m. Saturday, and found a total of five vehicles with their windows smashed, Cathedral City police Sgt. Corwin De Veas said.
Some of the cars had items that were stolen from them, he continued.
No suspects were spotted in the area, De Veas said.
The area has been repeatedly victimized by car burglars over the past few weeks, De Veas added.
Police asked anyone with information about these vehicle burglaries to call Cathedral City police at (760) 770-0303.
