Brew-Ligion Brewhouse and Grill officially opened doors to its roomier location on June 18, however, the owners saved the best for their upcoming grand opening.

Owners Mike Toner, Brent Szychulda and Shawn Christie have taken their vision of a micro-brewery and turned it into the real deal.

Classic rock wafts throughout the restaurant as servers hustle from table to table bringing burgers and pints of frothy ale.

Stainless steel tanks hover near the front entrance behind a glass wall allowing customers to feel like they are behind the scenes.

With a line-up of rotating draft beers and a few mainstays, Brew-Ligion is a craft beer lovers dream.

“We rotate our beer selection so that our customers can choose from a variety of micro-brews,” Toner said. “Thirty of the 48 drafts are top-sellers that we will keep on an ongoing basis for our loyal customer base.”

Toner added that many of the beers are seasonal and are released on a limited basis.

Stone Brewery out of Escondido recently released a very limited edition of a double  IPA, “Enjoy By,” which has an extremely short shelf life.

“We received the beer on Friday Aug. 24 and we sold out over the weekend,” he said. “It is truly one of the freshest beers available.”

Stone Brewery is the bastion of Southland craft beer and is in full support of Murrieta’s new addition.

Stone’s house band “The Flocculators” will be performing at the grand opening along with singers Caylie Gregorio and Ry Bradley. The event is also touting local cheer and dance teams, karate displays and lot’s of family fun and games.

“We also have plans to bring live music here on a regular basis,” Toner said.

In fact, once Monday Night Football kicks off, Brew-Ligion will be featuring parties on Monday nights complete with D.J. Kid Jay from radio station 99.1 FM serving as the host.

Toner made a point to note that without the support of their customers, they wouldn’t be experiencing the increased level of success and growth.

“Our dreams are coming true. We are excited and happy to come to work every day,” he said.

With the expansion of the larger space comes the expansion of the menu which was somewhat limited in the smaller location. Created by seasoned chef, Oscar Madamba whose Hawaiian roots are woven throughout the menu, gourmet burgers, nifty appetizers, and dishes with coconut milk and pineapple are fan favorites.

The future looks rosy for Brew-Ligion with many exciting things on the horizon. For more information visit their website at   http://brew-ligion.com/.
