A suspected drunk driver was arrested just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday Aug. 28 after he crashed into an SUV that was waiting at a red light, it was reported today.
Officers responded to the Cook Street near Gerald Ford Drive in Palm Desert to find Coachella resident Reynaldo Dominguez, 35, intoxicated and behind the wheel of a Mazda pick-up, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department officials.
There were no injuries reported, Sgt. Dave Eichelt said.
Dominguez was arrested for driving under the influence and booked into the Riverside County Jail.
