The arts will be in fine form in Temecula as part of the popular Gallery at the Merc series.
Hosted by the Temecula Community Services Department and the Arts Council of Temecula Valley, residents are invited to an opening reception for the Temecula Valley Art League Members Juried Fall Art Show from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 31, it was recently announced.
Light refreshments will be offered and a guests will be treated to a performance by Great Oak High School’s Generation Jazz Combo.
Juried arts awards will be announced promptly at 6 p.m.
The art show runs through Sept. 30 and is free and open to the public.
Gallery at the Merc is located at 42051 Main Street in Temecula.
