Gas leak at Eastvale Home Depot prompts evacuations

Riverside County firefighters today evacuated several businesses at a Home Depot shopping center, where a vehicle struck two natural gas meters, officials said.

No injuries connected to the 3:25 p.m. incident were reported. A team of 15 firefighters responded to the site in the 12500 block of Limonite Avenue, according to a written statement.

A work crew from the gas company was sent to the location in search of a possible gas leak.
