Riverside County Sheriff’s detectives were investigating the slaying early today of a 42-year-old man who died from a single gunshot wound, sheriff’s officials said in a written statement.
Deputies responded to a 12:40 a.m. call of shots fired in the 33000 block of Asbury Street.
It was there that the victim — identified by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office as Winchester resident Glenn Cabral – was found on the road and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the statement.
No other information was immediately available regarding the circumstances surrounding the death.
