Original: Firefighters are on the scene of a fully involved multi-structure fire in Menifee, it was reported.
The blaze was first called in at 8:37 p.m. in the 28200 block of Winged Foot Drive, just south of McCall Blvd., according to a Riverside County Fire Department report.
A subsequent follow up had the blaze contained at 9:02 p.m.
No injuries have been noted, however, initial radio transmissions suggested that there may have been people trapped in the structure.
Cal Fire and Riverside County Fire Department fire crews are on scene, along with Riverside County Sheriff’s Department officials, AMR medical personnel and an engine from Murrieta Fire Department that has been called to assist in knocking down the blaze.
Reports at the scene had firefighters aggressively attacking the fire to prevent it from spreading to neighboring structures, but working cautiously with at least one power line down and draped across a tree.
This is a developing story. Stay with SWRNN for more details as they become available.
