A 36-year-old man riding on a mini-bike collided with a minivan near Indian Avenue and Summerfield Drive in the city of Moreno Valley on Sunday Sept. 2, it was reported.

Officers found the critically injured man with major trauma. He was transported to Riverside Regional medical center where he is listed in critical condition.
The driver of the van and his female passenger were uninjured in the collision, Sgt. Lee Tainter said in a statement.
Members of the Moreno Valley Police Department’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team are investigating the accident.
