Temecula: Duo arrested for shoplifting at WalMart

Officers responded to a theft that occurred at WalMart located on Temecula Parkway just before 5 p.m. on Sunday Sept. 2, it was reported.

Deputies broadcasted a description of the suspects and their vehicle.

The suspects were spotted and stopped a short time later as they were traveling northbound on the 215 freeway near Newport Road, Sgt. Daniel Decker stated in a sheriff’s press release.

Robert Meza, 33, and Michael Larue, 31 were both detained and arrested.

Officers located the stolen property taken from WalMart along with items from other burglaries.

Both men were booked into the Southwest Detention Center.
