Woman dies in house fire in Norco

A woman died Sunday in a house fire on Temescal Avenue, Riverside County fire officials said today in a written statement.

The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of relatives but authorities reported a man was taken to a regional medical center for moderate burn injuries.

The blaze at the two-story home in the 4000 block of Temescal Avenue was reported at 2:27 p.m.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire less than half an hour later, authorities said.
