A brazen carjacker pulled a knife out on his acquaintance after the victim gave the man a ride on just before 6 p.m. Monday Sept. 4, sheriff’s deputies reported.
The male victim told deputies that he picked up his acquaintance from a fast food restaurant close to the intersection of Girard Street and Florida Avenue in Hemet. The suspect asked the owner of the car drive him to the intersection of Yale Street and Brock Avenue.
