Starting today, Mizell Senior Center will schedule appointments for free flu shots at its annual senior health fair.

The 24th Senior Lifestyle Expo is slated for Sept. 21 at Mizell, 480 S. Sunrise Way. In addition to free flu shots, the event will feature health and wellness seminars, information booths, and a farmers’ market, Mizell spokesman Jack Newby said.
Appointments for flu shots will be accepted at the Mizell ticket window for time slots from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. The number of shots is limited, Newby said.
