What better way to escape the hot, humid conditions plaguing Southwest Riverside these days than by sipping a cool, refreshing vino among vines in breezy Temecula wine country?
Check out this special weekend wine country round-up:
32720 Rancho California Road, Temecula
Presented by the Temecula Valley Wine Growers Association, this event promises tastings from at least 30 wineries. The event is planned from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 15. Tickets range from $75 to $100, and are available through the TVWG website.
Get your creative juices flowing as a local artist helps you create your own masterpiece while sipping wine from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 13. No experience is necessary. Cost is $35. Then, don’t miss the chance for some music in the vines with Finite Wisdom performing from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 14.
42031 Main St. Suite # C, Temecula
Enjoy a classic rock performance with “Live Music at Sunset” from 5-8 p.m. on Sept. 14 and “Sippin’ Sundays Live Music,” featuring Rhandi and Associates from 2-5 p.m. on Sept. 16.
Off a beaten path that showcases some of the most prestigious wineries in Temecula wine country lies the less-traveled, but truly unique De Portola Wine Trail. While there are many reasons to visit, including the De Portola Wine Trail’s popular Big Red Fest in April, California Wine Month makes September the perfect time to get to know this “family” of wineries.
