A fire that burned a bedroom of a house in Jurupa Valley, displacing five residents, was under investigation today, a county fire department spokeswoman said.
The blaze was reported around 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 7800 block of Chandler Lane, said Melody Hendrickson of the Riverside County Fire Department.
Seventy-five firefighters responded to the fire, which was extinguished in less 30 minutes, Hendrickson said.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the blaze remained under investigation, she said.
