Motorist suffers severe injuries in Idyllwild crash

A person seriously injured in a 3 a.m. collision in Idyllwild was hospitalized today.

A helicopter took the victim to a hospital from the accident near or at Riverside County Playground Road and Pine Crest Avenue, a Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman said.

Two other people refused medical attention, the spokeswoman said.
